I have been a professional photographer specializing in actor’s headshots for over 30 years.

Your headshot, along with your résumé, is your calling card. It is the first impression you make with agents, casting directors and directors. Your shots must look like you and show you in a professional, friendly, easy-to-work-with and dynamic manner. An unprofessional or out-of-date headshot can hinder your efforts in this business.

Many folks, even seasoned actors, are apprehensive about a headshot session. All but a few lucky souls and professional models feel insecure and un-natural in front of a camera. But, because I’m also an actor and director as well as a photographer, I have a unique way of getting great shots from my clients. I know what makes an effective headshot and I know how to work with you to get those perfect shots. My responsibility goes much deeper than telling you to “Smile!” That rarely works, anyway!

Your headshot session will be all yours, with no interruptions. It will be light and enjoyable. We’ll take our time. You’ll never feel rushed.

I pride myself on getting a high percentage of usable shots from a session. The biggest complaint I hear is, “There are too many great shots to choose from!”

I always meet with a prospective client before scheduling a session to give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. This “look-see” gives you a chance to get familiar with the studio and where we’ll be shooting. It’s also gives you a chance to decide if you even want to work with me!
